It’s been a few months since we announced the launch of INDEAL Cares; a charity on a mission to support healthy workplace communities within the commercial furniture industry in North America - and in under-served communities around the world.
At that time, we asked the community to help us to develop programs and services by participating in our Employee Survey.
Now, I’m pleased to share that the survey report; Working in a Changed World: Understanding Health and Well-being in the Commercial Furniture Industry, is available to download here. The results from our employee survey has provided some key insights that will help to guide our work:
Our Pillars are Supported: We were pleased to see that our four pillars of health are considered to be vitally important. We will continue to invest in these areas to support employee wellness.
We are Working in a Changed World: COVID-19 has changed the world – and altered the relationship between employees and the companies where they work in the process. Individuals are looking for a new, improved relationship with their employers.
Workplace Wellness is a Priority: Now, more than ever, there is a prime opportunity for the commercial furniture industry to demonstrate an outstanding commitment to workplace wellness – and to emerge as leaders who can change the way that people live – and work – for the better.
We are more committed than ever before to provide valuable and actionable tools that will empower our community to live their best lives, and we invite you to join us.
Here are four ways for you to get involved with INDEAL Cares today:
1. Connect with Us. We are releasing new content in the form of blogs, Instagram posts, and new tools for individuals to manage their own health every week. Make sure you are in the know. Click here to sign up for our newsletter, connect on social media, and more.
2. Share your Charity. INDEAL Cares is a charity for the industry and we want to hear from you. We launched INDEAL Cares in honor of my daughter, Dr. Shannon Bloch, with a hope that would provide a way for the industry to demonstrate a unified compassion, while strengthening workplace communities and offering vital support to those who need it most.
