Did you know?

01/

More than a billion people in the world today experience spine-related disabilities.

02/

The greatest burden of disability worldwide is attributed to neck and back pain combined.

03/

Spinal disorders disproportionately affect women, the elderly, rural communities, and lower income countries.

04/

In high-income countries, the presence of a spinal disorder in an individual is associated with nearly double the medical costs than in those individuals without a spinal problem.

INDEAL Cares is dedicated to supporting global spine health and disability prevention – in North America and globally.
SUSTAINABLE. INTEGRATED. EVIDENCE-BASED. SPINE CARE.

Worldwide, back pain is the single leading cause of disability, preventing many people from engaging in work as well as other everyday activities. Through a partnership with World Spine Care, an international charitable organization that provides evidence-based spine care to underserved communities globally, INDEAL Cares is dedicated to supporting global spine health and disability prevention – in North America and globally.

Spine Health

World Spine Care is a multinational not-for-profit, charitable organization founded in 2008 by Scott Haldeman MD, PhD, DC, a leading figure in the assessment and treatment of spinal conditions.

Launched to fill the profound gap in the evidence-based treatment of musculoskeletal and especially spinal conditions found in under-served areas around the world, World Spine Care’s aim is to create a world in which everyone has access to the highest quality spine care possible.

INDEAL Cares is committed to supporting World Spine Care clinics in Botswana, Dominican Republic, and India, as well as the investigation into expansion of clinics in other underserved areas of the world.
