No Bake Energy Balls

These no-bake energy balls are perfect if you're running out of fuel and need a little pick-me-up, or want to have an easy snack on hand!

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups rolled oats (large, small or quick – or a combo)

  • 2 tablespoons ‘power-up’ add-ins like hemp seeds, ground flax seeds, chia seeds or rolled oats

  • ½ cup nut or seed butter

  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup1 teaspoon vanilla

  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

  • ½ cup of your favourite mix-ins: pick from chocolate chips, chopped nuts, shredded coconut, dried fruits, etc.

Preparation

  1. Combine everything in a bowl. Mix well. The mixture should hold together when lightly squeezed. If the mixture is a bit dry, add a bit more nut/seed butter. If it's too wet, add more oats.

  2. Roll into little tablespoon-sized balls. You can use your hands or a small scoop – and you’re done!

  3. Store in an air-tight container in the fridge for about a week. They will store in the freezer for about a month
